Old Building Nerd

Just in case you had any doubt that I’m a giant old building nerd, have a few random pictures that I took around downtown DC after the Inauguration a couple of weeks ago. 🙂

I ❤ fire escapes. (This apartment? building appears to be empty…my friends are I totally would have tried to peer in the windows, but there were cops all over, and they might have taken us being creepers the wrong way :-P)

This last one makes me sad–it was a gorgeous old building once. Now it just rots, with a giant fucking billboard pasted over the (also rotting) old building next to it. 😦
